Immuno is not medical care, and nothing in it is medical advice. Read this before you use anything you see in Immuno to make a decision about your child's health.
1. What Immuno is
Immuno is a general wellness and educational product for families. It helps children build habits around eating, moving, hydrating, and resting by turning those habits into a game, and it gives parents a place to keep notes on how their child is doing.
2. What Immuno is not
Immuno is not:
- A medical device
- A diagnostic tool
- A treatment, therapy, or clinical decision support system
- A substitute for a doctor, dietitian, nurse, or any other qualified healthcare professional
- A monitoring system for any medical condition
- A source of dietary or nutrition advice for a specific medical condition
Immuno does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition, including any autoimmune condition. Immuno has not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or by any other regulator.
3. Nothing here is medical advice
Everything the Service displays — nutrition and calorie estimates, micronutrient summaries, symptom histories, trends, streaks, and any "flare," pattern, correlation, or risk signal — is informational and educational only.
These outputs are generated from data you entered and from general nutritional databases. They are not reviewed by a clinician, they are not personalized to your child's medical situation, and they may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A pattern shown in Immuno is a pattern in the numbers you logged. It is not a finding about your child's health.
4. Always talk to a healthcare professional
Always seek the advice of your child's physician or another qualified healthcare provider before you:
- Change your child's diet, including eliminating or adding foods
- Start, stop, or change any medication or supplement
- Change your child's exercise or activity level
- Act on anything you saw in Immuno
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or saw in this Service.
5. In an emergency
If you think your child is having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Do not use Immuno to report an emergency. Immuno is not monitored by anyone, no clinician sees what you log, and no one will respond to a symptom you enter.
6. Accuracy of nutrition data
Nutrition figures are estimates. They come from third-party sources including the USDA FoodData Central database and from our own simplified entries for common kid foods, and they assume typical portion sizes rather than what your child actually ate.
Do not rely on Immuno for:
- Allergen information. Always check the actual product label. An allergen may be missing or wrong in our data.
- Carbohydrate counting for insulin dosing, or any other calculation where an error could cause harm.
- Elimination diets or medically restricted diets, without your clinician's supervision.
- Any calculation that has to be exact.
7. Device and wearable data
Metrics synced from Apple Health, an Apple Watch, or another wearable are produced by that device and passed through to you. They are consumer-grade fitness metrics, not medical measurements. We do not validate them for clinical accuracy, and neither do the device makers. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep staging, and step counts from consumer devices can be substantially wrong. Never use them to assess a medical condition.
8. Your responsibility
You decide what to do with the information in Immuno. You are responsible for your child's care, and for consulting a professional before making health decisions. By using the Service you accept that [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] is not liable for any health outcome, medical decision, or injury arising from your reliance on the Service, as set out in the Terms of Service.
9. No provider relationship
Using Immuno does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] or anyone working for us.
